Random weekend in Charleston

I decided to go to Charleston on Friday to go see some friends I haven't seen in awhile. It was AWESOME!!! Friday we went to AW Shucks to go see friends that were at work. (I went with a friend that worked with me at AW Shucks last summer - she now lives north of Charlotte) After going to Shucks we went to a b-day party and stayed up late. Saturday we spent the entire day on the beach and followed that by going to a restaurant for snacks. I ended up sunburnt! Awesome way to start out March! All in all a great weekend... I love random roadtrips!

Snow

Well we got a bunch of snow last night!!!

It doesnt look like much, but it was enough to close all the schools in multiple counties and all government offices are closed today. I'll be going out on an adventure here in a couple of hours (after the sun melts some of the snow) to see how many places have closed for the day.

Here we got about 3 maybe 4 inches but in other places in the area got about 6-7 inches.

The Start

Today is Saturday, and like most Saturdays I will be going to work around 430. Right now I am doing homework. I have to read, lets see here, 356 discussion posts for Managerial Communication. After that I will be working on Probability and Statistics. Homework filled day!

Also today is day number 20 that I have not eaten any meat. For the month of February I have decided to participate in my own little experiment. There are two reasons for this experiment. One we will save money by not buying meat this month and two I will be able to focus on eating more vegetables and hopefully learn how to eat better. I thought that this was going to be a challenge, but it has been a lot of fun. Two days ago I cooked with eggplant for the first time and it was delicious!!! I made homemade black bean burgers last week, also very good!
